Exactly a month ago, Redmi Note 11 series went official in China with three phones under it named the Note 11 5G, Note 11 Pro & Note 11 Pro Plus. Today, the Redmi Note 11 5G launched in the Indian market but with a different name. It launched as the Redmi Note 11T 5G, the successor to Redmi Note 10T 5G. Interestingly, even the Note 10T 5G was just Note 10 5G but with a different name for the Indian market. Anyways, the Note 11T 5G starts at ₹16,999, so that’s quite an increase in the starting price when compared to the Note 10T 5G, which launched at ₹13,999.
Apart from the name, it isn’t any different when compared to the Chinese variant. So, the phone gets a polycarbonate build where the back panel has a matte finish. There is a side-mounted fingerprint reader, a dual-camera setup on the rear, and a display with hole-punch in the middle. There is a USB Type-C port on the bottom, and the phone also gets stereo speakers along with a 3.5mm headphone jack. In typical Redmi fashion, the phone has an IR Blaster on the top.
Redmi Note 11T 5G has a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ LCD on the front with a 90Hz refresh-rate & Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, there is the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset which is built on the 6nm process and is paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.
As for the cameras, there are only two on the back where the primary shooter has a 50MP sensor, and the secondary ultrawide camera has an 8MP sensor. The phone can shoot up to FHD videos at 60fps. For selfies, there is a 16MP camera.
Redmi Note 11T 5G comes with a big 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. The 33W adapter is provided in the box.
Finally, the phone supports 7 5G bands, and MIUI 12.5 runs out of the box, which is based on Android 11.
