The Redmi K70 Ultra was launched in July last year, featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SOC, IP68 certification, and a large 5,500mAh battery. The brand is now all set to unveil the Redmi K80 Ultra in the Chinese market. It is worth mentioning that the Redmi K80 series currently includes the vanilla K80 and the K80 Pro, both featuring Qualcomm chipsets. The Redmi K80 Ultra, however, takes a different route.
Speaking of the design, Redmi has shared the official images on Weibo. The K80 Ultra has a similar circular camera module on the rear as the other phones in this series. The difference is the placement of the LED flash, which is inside the camera module on the K80 Pro. The phone still has a dual camera setup on the rear. There is a flat metal frame and a flat display on the front with minimal bezels.
In terms of the specifications, it is officially confirmed that the Redmi K80 Ultra has the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset and the ‘D2’ independent display chip. The brand claims an AnTuTu score of over 3 Million points. There is a large 6.83-inch display.
