Moto G9 Power with 6000mAh battery launched for €199
With the Moto G9, Moto G9 Play & Moto G9 Plus already official, the only phone that’s left in this series is the Moto G9 Power. Well today, the phone launched in the European market alongside the Moto G 5G. The “Power” series from Motorola has always included phones with big batteries & the G9 Power is no exception. It comes with a massive 6,000mAh battery inside which makes it an absolute powerhouse when it comes to the battery.
There are two color options to choose from named Electic Violet and Metallic Sage. Design-wise, it comes with a hole-punch display on the front & a triple camera setup on the rear. The cutout for the selfies camera is placed on the top left of the display & the Quad cameras are placed inside a square-shaped camera housing on the top left on the rear. The fingerprint scanner is positioned on the back as well.
There is a USB Type-C Port on the bottom & a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top.
The display on the Moto G9 Power is a huge 6.8-inch IPS LCD with 720p resolution. Since the display is so big, but the resolution is only 720p, the pixel density is 264 PPI. Under the hood, the G9 Power packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset that is paired with 4GB RAM & 128GB internal storage. So the phone has the same chipset that powers the Moto G9 & interestingly, the last year’s Moto G8 Power had the Snapdragon 665 & a Full-HD+ panel.
There is a massive 6,000mAh battery underneath which is the biggest battery that Motorola has ever put in its phone. And to top it up quickly, there is support for 20W Fast Charging.
Finally, coming to the cameras on this phone, there are triple cameras on the rear where the primary shooter is a 64 Megapixel sensor with f/1.79 aperture. The rest of the two cameras include one 2MP macro camera & one 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is a 16 Megapixel camera for selfies. Android 10 runs out of the box.
In the European market, the Moto G9 Power is priced at €199 & the phone is coming soon to other markets including Asia, Middle East, Latin America etc.
