
The Redm K70 Ultra is now official in the Chinese market, and it is the company’s latest high-end phone under the K70 series. As the name suggests, it is the successor to the Redmi K60 Ultra. The Redm K60 Ultra featured the Dimensity 9200+ chipset and was launched globally as the Xiaomi 13T Pro.
The Redmi K70 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SOC, which offers a 37% improved CPU & 44% improved GPU performance compared to the Dimensity 9200+. On the AnTuTu benchmark, the phone scores over 2.3 million points. The phone has a large 5,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
On the front, the phone has a flat display and the company went for its in-house “Dragon Crystal” glass protection. The company said the glass it used is 35% harder than the one used in the Redmi K60 Ultra. The phone is IP68 certified, has a metal frame, and a glass back. There are stereo speakers, an IR blaster, an X-axis linear motor, and NFC.
The display has a 6.67-inch Huaxing C8+ OLED panel with 4000 nits peak brightness, 1.5K resolution, 3840Hz PWM dimming, and a 144Hz refresh rate. The bottom chin is just 1.9mm, and the panel supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision.
In terms of cameras, the Redmi K70 Ultra has a triple camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with an f/1.68 lens and OIS. The ultrawide camera has an 8MP sensor, and there is a 2MP sensor for the third camera. The selfie camera uses a 20MP sensor. The phone can shoot 8K videos at up to 30fps from the primary rear camera. The selfie camera can shoot up to 1080p 30fps videos.
Finally, the phone runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.

The phone also has a special “Champion Edition,” which comes with 24GB RAM and 1TB storage. The price for that variant is ¥3999 (~$550).
