Here are the Huawei Mate 30 & Mate 30 Pro official renders

Well, in a couple of days, on September 19, Huawei will unveil its Mate 30 Series at an event in Munich, Germany. So far, we have seen the CAD renders of the Mate 30 Pro, the retail box of the Mate 30 & also the alleged spec sheet of the Mate 30 Pro. Today, however, Evan Blass shared the official renders of both the Huawei Mate 30 & Mate 30 Pro on Twitter along with the renders of “Porsche Edition”.

The regular Huawei Mate 30 is going to have a circular camera module on the back as well, just like the Mate 30 Pro but we expect the cameras to be slightly downgraded from the “Pro” version.

On the front, the Mate 30 has an edge-to-edge display with a notch on top that’s smaller than the notch on Mate 30 Pro, but as we can see, it houses dual cameras & some sensors, so it is surely having a Face Recognition Mechanism like Mate 30 Pro. The display is flat & not curved like on the Mate 30 Pro.

The renders suggest that there is almost no Chin at all.

Coming to the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, it has a similar design on the front except for the fact that the display is curved on the sides & there is a bigger notch that has triple cameras & other sensors.

On the rear, it has Quad Cameras placed in that circular setup & there is also a Xenon flash on the back. There is a power button on the right side but no physical volume rockers.

Every year, Huawei unveils the “Porsche Edition” Mate series phone as well & this year is no exception. As the renders above show, we are getting a “Porsche Edition” featuring a Quad Camera setup on the rear & a premium leather finish on the back with a black stripe in the middle. It does have a notch on the front like Mate 30 Pro & has triple front cameras.

Finally, we have the Huawei Mate 30 Lite which, by looking at the renders, is just the Huawei Nova 5i Pro with a different name. If it is indeed the Nova 5i Pro, it features the Kirin 810 SOC, Quad Rear cameras ( 48MP + 8MP wide-angle + 2MP Macro + 2MP Depth sensor), 32MP front camera, 4,000mAH battery & more.

Well, that’s the whole Huawei Mate 30 Series that is launching on September 19th. The only thing left to know now if the pricing & we know the Mate 30 Pro will be priced above EUR 1000 since the Mate 20 Pro launched last year with a starting price of EUR 1049 in Europe.
