Alleged Images of Huawei Mate 30 retail box leaked

The Huawei Mate 30 Series is launching on September 19 so about a week is now left for the launch of the new Huawei flagships & definitely one of the best phones of this year. We know that the Mate 30 Series won’t ship with Google apps & services, but that doesn’t mean it won’t run on Android OS.

Recently, the CAD renders of the Huawei Mate 30 Pro revealed that circular camera module on the back which houses Quad cameras. Today, a couple of images of the official retail box of Mate 30 leaked via Weibo.

One thing that the retail box highlights are the cameras. We can see the “SuperSensing Camera” text on the front along with the “Leica” branding & we know the cameras are going to be impressive. There are leaks hinting at two 40MP cameras with one being a normal lens while the other being a wide-angle one. Some rumours even hint at a primary camera with the variable aperture, so that’s interesting.

While the retail box didn’t reveal the specifications, we do know that the Huawei Mate 30 Series features the recently launched Kirin 990 SOC. The box is for the 6GB + 128GB variant of the Mate 30 (not the Pro) & the model number is TAS-AL00.
