Honor 9X Pro launched in India, priced at Rs 17,999

Last year in July, the Honor 9X Pro launched in China with Kirin 810 SOC, pop-up selfie camera & more at a starting price of 2,199 Yuan or $320. Today, the phone launched in India at a price of Rs 17,999 and an interesting thing about this phone is that it comes with no support for Google Mobile Services or GMS. This means you don’t get the Google Play Services or Google Play Store in this phone.

There is Huawei’s AppGallery for installing apps on this device.

HONOR 9X PRO – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS

The design of 9X Pro is gorgeous as it comes with a Full-Screen design on the front which means no notch or punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The selfie camera is placed in a pop-up mechanism, and there is a triple camera setup on the rear. The fingerprint scanner is on the right side since the display is LCD and not AMOLED. There is a USB Type-C port on the bottom.

There is a 6.59-inch Full-HD+ LTPS LCD panel on the front & the phone is powered by an extremely powerful 7nm Kirin 810 SOC. There is 6GB RAM paired with 256GB internal storage, so this makes it one of the few phones priced under Rs 20,000 in India that have 256GB storage option.

The triple camera setup on the rear includes a primary 48 Megapixel shooter paired with an 8 Megapixel ultrawide camera and a 2 Megapixel depth sensor. On the front is a 16 Megapixel camera for selfies. There is a 4,000mAh battery, 10W charging, and Android 10 runs out of the box with EMUI on top.
