Last month, the Redmi Turbo 3 was launched in China with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and a very aggressive price. The phone is soon launching in the Indian market as the Poco F6. Poco has officially confirmed the name and also revealed the launch date. The phone is launching in India on May 23, a day after Realme launches its GT 6T with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 in India.
The official teaser confirms that the Poco F6 is a rebrand of the Redmi Turbo 3, as the teaser reveals the same camera layout and the gold color option.
This means the Poco F6 has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset under the hood, paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. There is a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display with a peak brightness of 2400 nits, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and a 1.5K resolution. There are stereo speakers, and the phone is IP64-certified.
The dual camera setup on the rear includes a primary 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide. The selfie camera has a 20MP sensor.
There is a 5,000mAh battery with 90W fast charging support.
Finally, Poco F6 runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.
The Poco F6 is expected to launch under ₹35,000 in the Indian market.
