The iQOO Z9x is the latest budget phone from the brand for the Indian market. The price starts at ₹12,999, and for comparison, the iQOO Z9 with better specifications is priced at ₹19,999. For the price, the phone offers a good spec sheet, making it a great value-for-money device.
The phone has a polycarbonate build, and there are two color options. It is also IP64-certified, something we do not see in the budget segment. There are stereo speakers, and the phone has a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the side.
One of the highlights of the iQOO Z9x is the battery. It has a massive 6,000mAh battery, but still, the phone is just 7.99mm thick, making it one of the slimmest phones with a 6,000mAh battery in India. The phone supports 44W fast charging, and the charger is bundled in the box.
The display is a 6.72-inch LCD with a Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The brightness goes up to 1000 nits.
Under the hood, the iQOO Z9x has the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SOC, built on the 4nm process. This chipset scores over 550,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. There is up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, with the option to expand the storage via a microSD card.
As for the cameras, the phone has two on the rear. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor, while the secondary camera uses a 2MP sensor. For selfies, the phone has an 8MP sensor.
Finally, Android 14-based FuntouchOS 14 runs out of the box. The phone will get two OS updates.
