The Honor 100 series was launched in November last year, featuring the 1/1.56″ Sony IMX906 sensor for the primary camera. The Honor 100 featured the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, whereas the Honor 100 Pro had the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The brand is all set to launch the Honor 200 series in China. The launch date is May 27, and ahead of the official launch, the company has shared the designs of both phones, as the devices have been listed on the official website.
The Honor 200 looks completely different than the Honor 100 from the rear. Instead of a rectangular camera module, the phone has an oval camera module with a triple camera setup and LED flash. There are four color options, each with a different design on the back. On the front, the phone has a hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.
The Honor 200 Pro has a similar oval camera module as the vanilla model, but two, of the four color options have a different pattern on the back as compared to the Honor 200. There is a curved display on the front, and the phone has a pill-shaped cutout.
According to Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the Honor 200 Pro features a 50MP sensor for the primary camera. This is a 1/1.3″ sensor (most likely the OmniVision OV50H) with OIS and an f/1.9 lens. The battery is 5,200mAh, and there is 100W fast-wired charging support.
