Oppo Reno promo video leaks, launching with 10X Zoom on April 10

Oppo just announced a new product line named ‘Reno,’ and we will soon see the first phone launching under this lineup. It was unclear till now whether it will be a high-end device or a mid-ranger. But today, the official promo video of the phone leaked that revealed one of the biggest surprises related to the phone. The Oppo Reno is going to be the first phone from the company to launch with the 10X Lossless Zoom, a technology that the company showcased at the MWC Barcelona this year.

As you can see, there are triple cameras on the rear, and one of the cameras has a square lens which is a similar arrangement as on the prototype that Oppo showcased at the MWC. Assuming that the camera system will be the same as shown at the event, the Oppo Reno will have a primary ultra-wide-angle camera, a 48MP Sony IMX 586 secondary camera, and finally a third camera with 10X Lossless Zoom technology.

In short, this third camera lens has two ‘D-Cut’ lenses that are assembled like a Periscope. Thanks to the refined Optical Image Stabilizer and a large sensor, you get super detailed and clear photos even when you zoom in.

The Oppo Reno, as the promo video reveals, will launch on April 10th and since Oppo showcased the 10X Lossless Zoom technology at the MWC Barcelona, we are expecting that it is going to be a global launch.
