In our previous post, we discussed the Xiaomi 13. But, alongside that phone, Xiaomi also launched the Pro version. The Xiaomi 13 Pro is the company’s premium flagship phone that inherits some features from the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The 13 Pro starts at ¥4999 (~$719). At the same price, you get the top variant of Xiaomi 13. This should give you an idea that this is a premium flagship phone with a crazy spec sheet.
Design-wise, the Xiaomi 13 Pro has some notable differences from the Xiaomi 13. First and foremost, there are no flat sides, and the reason for that is the curved display. The camera module is larger, too, and we will discuss the reason for that later in this article. And, ofcourse, the phone is bigger and wider than the vanilla model.
There is a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, IP68 certification, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and wireless charging support. All of these are also present in Xiaomi 13.
On the front, Xiaomi 13 Pro has a large 6.73-inch Quad-HD+ curved OLED display with 1900 nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. This is an LTPO panel with a 10-bit color depth. The SOC and storage options are the same as the vanilla model.
The battery is bigger at 4,820mAh, and there is support for 120W fast wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The main USP of the Xiaomi 13 Pro is the camera setup. There are three cameras on the rear. The primary camera has a 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor with HyperOIS. This is a 1-inch camera sensor, also present on Xiaomi 12S Ultra. The ultrawide camera has a 50MP sensor and can shoot macro photos. Finally, there is a 50MP sensor for the 3X telephoto camera with OIS and a 75mm lens. All the Leica magic is also present in this phone. The selfie camera has a 32MP sensor.
Xiaomi 13 Pro comes in four colors, and here is the pricing –
