Exactly a year ago, the Xiaomi 13T & Xiaomi 13T Pro were launched in the global market with the MediaTek Dimensity 8200-Ultra & Dimensity 9200+, respectively. Today, the company launched the successors in the global market – Xiaomi 14T & Xiaomi 14T Pro. The two phones bring some big upgrades over the last year’s models.

XIAOMI 14T

Xiaomi 14T

Design-wise, the Xiaomi 14T features a different camera module design than the Xiaomi 13T. There are three cameras on the back and an LED flash, all placed inside a square module that is made of 6M13 aluminum alloy. The sides of the phone are flat, as is the display on the front. There is a textured power button on the side, a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, an IR blaster, WiFi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and an IP68-certification.

The display on the front has extremely slim bezels, resulting in a 93.3% screen-to-body ratio. Xiaomi says the chin on the front is just 1.9mm. This is a 6.67-inch flat OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 4000 nits peak brightness. The panel has a 12-bit color depth, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision support.

Xiaomi 14T

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14T has the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. The phone comes with the Gemini app pre-installed and has Circle-to-Search. Other AI features include AI Notes, AI Recorder, AI Subtitles, AI Interpreter, AI Portrait, AI Image Editing, and AI Film.

Speaking of the cameras, the phone has a triple camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 1/1.56″ 50MP Sony IMX906 sensor with OIS and an f/1.7 lens. The ultrawide camera uses a 12MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens. Finally, there is a third telephoto camera with a 50MP sensor, an f/1.9 aperture lens, and a 50mm focal length. The selfie shooter has a 32MP sensor. The phone can shoot 4K 60fps videos from the rear camera and 4K 30fps videos from the selfie shooter.

Since the phone comes with LEICA branding, there are some LEICA-specific features in the camera app, such as the Leica photography styles. Other camera features include MasterCinema to capture 10-bit videos in Rec. 2020, Director Mode, which gives you a professional camera interface with advanced controls, Movie Mode with a 2.39:1 film aspect ratio, and more.

Finally, the phone runs on Android 14-based HyperOS.

Xiaomi 14T

The Xiaomi 14T comes in four colors, one of which is “Lemon Green” with Xiaomi BioComfort PU leather. This color option features a base made of 100% recycled fabric and 50% bio-based materials that include 50% lemon fiber.

The price starts at €650 for the base 12GB + 256GB variant.

XIAOMI 14T PRO

Xiaomi 14T Pro

Design-wise, there is no difference between the Pro and the non-Pro model at first glance. But unlike the plastic frame on the Xiaomi 14T, the 14T Pro has a metal frame. The phone is IP68-rated, has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and an under-display fingerprint scanner. Thanks to a better chipset, there is WiFi 7 support.

Under the hood, the Xiaomi 14T Pro has the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SOC, the most powerful MediaTek SOC in the market right now. There is LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.0 storage. For better thermals, there is Xiaomi’s 3D Iceloop cooling system. The battery is 5,000mAh, and the phone supports 120W wired + 50W wireless charging. To optimize charging performance and minimize power consumption, there is Xiaomi’s Surge P2 chipset.

The phone has Xiaomi’s Surge T1 Tuner chip for better GPS, Bluetooth, and cellular antenna performance.

Xiaomi 14T Pro

Speaking of the display, it is the same panel as the Xiaomi 14T – a 6.67-inch 144Hz OLED with a 4000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 12-bit color depth.

In terms of cameras, there are three on the rear. The primary camera is using a 1/1.31″ 50MP Light Fusion 900 sensor with a large f/1.6 aperture lens and OIS. The ultrawide camera has a 12MP sensor and an f/2.2 lens. The third camera is a telephoto camera with a 50MP sensor and a 60mm lens. For image processing, there is the Xiaomi AISP that integrates the computational power of the CPU, GPU, NPU, and ISP through Xiaomi HyperOS.

The Xiaomi 14T Pro comes in the same three colors as the Xiaomi 14T (except for the Lemon Green color). The price starts at €800 for the base 12GB + 256GB variant.
