The Snapdragon 730 & 730G debuted last year in April & we saw a lot of smartphones featuring either of the two chipsets. Even this year, we got a lot of devices with Snapdragon 730/730G (like the Pixel 4a). Well, Qualcomm finally upgraded the Snapdragon 730G with the all-new Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G.
Unlike the Snapdragon 765/765G, 732G is a 4G chipset & will power a lot of upcoming 4G mid-rangers. The first smartphone with Snapdragon 732G is going to be the Poco X3 which is launching on September 7th.

There are two major upgrades compared to the Snapdragon 730G. First, the Prime Core of Kryo 470 CPU is now clocked at 2.3GHz, so the clock speed is slightly higher compared to Snapdragon 730G’s 2.2GHz. Second, the Adreno 618 GPU offers 15% better Graphics Performance over the Adreno 618 GPU of Snapdragon 730G as it comes with a higher frequency. There is the same X15 LTE Modem, the same Spectra 350 ISP, & the same DSP.
Talking about the upcoming Poco X3, Sam Jiang, head of products, POCO Global, said –
“We are extremely excited about the upcoming POCO smartphone and our collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies that allowed us to create the first device on the market with the latest Snapdragon 732G Mobile Platform. We believe the device will set a new benchmark in the mid-range category, completely redefining the relationship between a phone’s price and its capabilities.”
