Poco M4 Pro 5G is now official in the Indian market, and it is just a rebadged Redmi Note 11T 5G that launched in India in November last year. Now, the M4 Pro 5G launched at ₹14,999 in India, which is ₹2,000 cheaper than Note 11T 5G, but the reason for that is the memory configuration. The base variant of Poco offers 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, whereas the Note 11T 5G offers 6GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Design-wise, as always, Poco tried to make the phone look different on the rear. There is POCO branding on the right of the camera module, and this is a similar design to what we have seen on a lot of previous Poco phones. The phone also comes in the signature Poco Yellow color option. There is a polycarbonate build, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a display with a centered hole punch cutout. The camera module on the back has a dual-camera setup in it.
The Poco M4 Pro 5G has the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SOC under the hood paired with 4/6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable via a microSD card. The phone also comes with Virtual Memory support, so when required, some part of the internal storage can be used as RAM. The battery size is 5,000mAh, and the phone also supports 33W fast charging.
There are only two cameras on the back where the primary shooter has a 50MP sensor, whereas the ultrawide shooter has an 8MP sensor. For selfies, the phone has a 16MP camera. There are stereo speakers and Hi-Res Audio support. The display on the front is a 6.6-inch Full-HD+ LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate.
In India, Poco M4 Pro 5G comes in three colors named Cool Blue, Power Black & Poco Yellow. Here is the price of all the variants –
- 4GB + 64GB – ₹14,999
- 6GB + 128GB – ₹16,999
- 8GB + 128GB – ₹18,999
The first sale is happening on the 22nd of February. You can buy the phone via Flipkart.
