Poco M4 5G is now official in India, and this is a rebranded Redmi Note 11E (in China). This is the first non-Pro 5G phone under the “M” series, and that’s possible due to the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SOC. This is the same SOC that powered the Poco M3 Pro 5G last year. The M3 Pro 5G and the M4 5G have some specifications in common. For example, the display, the battery, charging, the chipset, etc.

The Poco M4 5G looks quite different from the Redmi Note 11E, thanks to the redesigned camera module on the rear. Like previous Poco phones, the camera module goes from one side to the other and includes not just the cameras but also the company’s branding. The phone also comes in the trademark Poco Yellow color.

The sides of the phone are flat, and there is a display with a notch on top. The phone is IP52 rated, which means it can handle some splashes of water and is also partially resistant to dust. The fingerprint scanner is on the right side.

The phone supports 7 5G bands, and there is up to 6GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage.

On the front, there is a 6.58-inch Full-HD+ 90Hz LCD with up to 240Hz touch-sampling rate. The notch on top houses an 8MP selfie camera. There is a 50MP primary sensor on the rear and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera can shoot 1080p 30fps videos, and the same is the case for the front camera.

Finally, there is a 5,000mAh battery and support for 18W fast charging. Poco M4 5G runs on Android 12 out of the box with MIUI 13 on top.

There are two storage options, and here is the price for India –
