Alongside the OnePlus Nord N10 5G, we also got the OnePlus Nord N100 & one interesting thing about this phone is that this is the cheapest phone that OnePlus has ever launched as it is priced at £179. This is because it is a budget offering from the brand, something that OnePlus has never done before. Now since it is a budget offering, it doesn’t offer 5G support like the Nord N10.
ONEPLUS NORD N100 – DESIGN & SPECIFICATIONS
The design is not very different from the OnePlus Nord N10 5G except for the fact that there is one less camera on the rear & the corners of the device seem more curved than those of the N10 5G. There are dual speakers on the N100 & it has USB Type-C port + 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom.
There is a 6.52-inch IPS LCD on the front with 720p resolution & the Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the phone gets the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SOC which is paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM & 64GB UFS 2.1 storage that is expandable up to 256GB. There is a 5,000mAh battery underneath & the OnePlus Nord N100 supports 18W Fast Charging.
The triple camera setup includes a primary 13-megapixel camera, a secondary 2 Megapixel Macro camera & a 2 Megapixel depth sensor. There is an 8 Megapixel camera on the front. OxygenOS 10.5 runs out of the box which is based on Android 10 so no Android 11 out of the box for some reasons.
