OnePlus Nord N10 5G launched with Snapdragon 690 at £329

In July, we got the OnePlus Nord, company’s first smartphone under the ‘NORD’ series. The device offers the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset, a 90Hz AMOLED panel, 30W Fast Charging, Quad rear cameras, dual selfie cameras & more for a starting price of £379. Well today, we got the OnePlus Nord N10 5G which is an even cheaper offering from the brand as it starts at £329.

So, for £50 less, what are the downgrades over the OnePlus Nord? Well, let’s talk about the N10 5G in detail in this article.

OnePlus Nord N10 5G

The design of the phone is similar to the recently launched OnePlus 8T since the N10 5G has the same hole-punch design on the front that includes a cutout for the single selfie camera on the top left corner. There is a rectangular camera module on the back that includes the Quad camera setup. The fingerprint scanner this time is on the rear instead of being under the display.

While the OnePlus NORD didn’t have it, the Nord N10 5G has a 3.5mm headphone jack. There are Stereo speakers as well.

One of the biggest downgrades over the OnePlus Nord is definitely the display since the OnePlus Nord N10 5G has an IPS LCD. It is a 6.49-inch panel with Full-HD+ resolution & 90Hz refresh rate. The display comes with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

Under the hood, there is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 5G chipset, again a downgrade from the Snapdragon 765G of OnePlus Nord. This chip was unveiled in June as the first 5G chipset under the Snapdragon 600 series. There is 6GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage that is also expandable via a microSD card up to 512GB.

The Quad camera setup includes a primary 64 Megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture lens, a secondary 8 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2 Megapixel monochrome camera & a 2 Megapixel macro camera. The primary camera can shoot 4K videos at 30fps. Unlike the OnePlus Nord, there is no OIS as the primary camera gets only EIS. There is a 16 Megapixel selfie camera with EIS.

Finally, the phone has a 4,300mAh battery & supports Warp Charge 30T. Android 10 based OxygenOS 10.5 runs out of the box.

In the United Kingdom, the Nord N10 5G is priced at £329 & there is only one color option named Midnight Ice. The phone is coming to the US as well, but we don’t yet know when. There is little to no chance of the launch in the Indian market.
