Nokia 7.2 with triple camera smiles for the camera

Nokia has already announced that it will launch some stuff at the IFA 2019 which happens in September. Now, we are most probably getting some new budget & mid-range devices, one of which is going to be the Nokia 7.2. Now, it is the same phone that leaked in some hands-on images with the codename “Daredevil”.

Moreover, the phone has already shown up on Geekbench, which revealed the chipset that powers it.

Today, Joachim Kuss, a Zeiss Employee, shared the live image of Nokia 7.2 on his Twitter account, which was later deleted. This confirms not only the name but also the design of the phone. So, as we can see in the image above, the phone has a circular camera module that houses triple cameras & the LED flash. We already know there is a 48 Megapixel primary rear camera & a secondary wide-angle camera. The third lens is most likely a depth sensor.

Joachim posted the image of the phone with the caption that says –

We showed the new Nokia 7.2 to some media and tech reporters yesterday – thanks @HMDGlobal for demonstrating it before its launch in Sept. Still a bit overwhelmed what today’s mobile photo and videography is about.

The Geekbench listing has already revealed the chipset as Snapdragon 660 & that’s weird since it is the same chip that powered the Nokia 7 Plus launched in February 2018. Like every Nokia Android phone, the Nokia 7.2 is going to be an Android One device so it would run stock Android Pie out of the box. Let’s wait for the official launch that’s happening in September.
