Moto G85 launching on July 10 with Snapdragon 6s Gen 3

Features a curved pOLED display!

The Moto G84 was launched in India in September last year, featuring a Snapdragon 695 chipset, and a 120Hz pOLED display. The brand has now announced the launch date for the Moto G85. The phone is set to launch in India on July 10, and the Flipkart listing has revealed the specifications of the phone, along with the design.

Design-wise, the Moto G85 features a curved display on the front with a hole punch cutout. For comparison, the Moto G84 featured a flat display. The display is protected with Gorilla Glass 5. There is a vegan leather finish on the rear, and the color options are Cobalt Blue, Urban Grey, and Olive Green. The phone weighs 172g and the thickness is 7.59mm.

The phone has a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support.

Speaking of the specifications, the Moto G85 is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SOC, which is a slightly upgraded version of the Snapdragon 695 chipset. There is 8GB or 12GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. The battery is 5,000mAh and there is 33W fast wired charging support. The phone supports 13 5G bands.

The display is a 6.7-inch pOLED with a Full-HD+ resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color depth, and 1600 nits peak brightness. There is a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor for the primary camera with OIS. The second camera has an 8MP sensor and an ultrawide lens. For selfies, the phone has a 32MP sensor.

Finally, the phone runs on Android 14 out of the box and will get two Android OS updates.

The Moto G85 is expected to launch under ₹20,000 in India.
