Legion Gaming Phone almost touches 650,000 mark on AnTuTu

This month, two gaming phones are launching – the ROG Phone 3 by Asus and the Legion Gaming Phone by Lenovo. Both these devices are coming with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset which would eventually make them the fastest gaming phones in the market.

The Legion Gaming Phone by Lenovo was benchmarked on AnTuTu & the benchmark report revealed some key specs as well. First, the model number of the phone is “L79031” & second, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ chipset. The variant that was benchmarked is the highest-end variant with 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The device managed to score 648,871, so it almost touched the 650,000 mark. Here is the breakdown of the overall score –

  • CPU – 187401
  • GPU – 246980
  • MEM – 114314
  • UX – 100176

The benchmark also revealed that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ has an octa-core CPU featuring 1x Kryo 585 Prime core clocked at 3.09GHz, 3x Kryo 585 Gold cores clocked at 2.42GHz, and 4x Kryo 585 Silver cores clocked at 1.8GHz. So, compared to the Snapdragon 865, the Prime Kryo 585 core of Snapdragon 865+ is overclocked at 3.09GHz.

There is Adreno 650 GPU & while it is the same GPU as for Snapdragon 865, the GPU performance is 13% better since the frequency is higher. Finally, the benchmark report also revealed that the Legion Gaming Phone has a 144Hz display.

Well, the launch date is not yet known, but Lenovo has already revealed that the Legion Gaming Phone is launching this month.
