Legion Gaming Phone to launch in July, official teaser reveals

While we already know how the upcoming Legion Gaming Phone looks like & what are the key specifications, we didn’t have any information regarding its launch date. FYI, we first got to know about this device back in February this year when Lenovo teased it on Weibo. But even after almost four months, all that we have seen are just teasers from the brand.

Today, the company finally announced when the phone is launching.

Legion Gaming Phone Launch

On its Weibo page, the company revealed in a teaser that the Legion Gaming Phone is launching in July in the Chinese market. So, the launch is set to take place next month.

As we know already, the phone has a side-facing pop-up camera & a display with no notch of holes. There are stereo front-firing speakers. This is a 144Hz OLED panel with a 270Hz touch-sampling rate & Full-HD+ resolution. The phone has Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SOC, LPDDR5 RAM & UFS 3.0 storage.

There are dual cameras in the rear placed almost at the center, which is a pretty odd position. The camera setup includes a primary 64 Megapixel camera & a secondary 16 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. There is a 5,000mAh battery & a mind-blowing 90W Fast Charging. Lenovo says the battery fully charges in just 30 minutes.

Well, the Legion Gaming Phone is going to compete with the phones like Black Shark 3/3 Pro & the Red Magic 5G that are already official, as well as with the Asus ROG Phone III that is set to launch soon.
