Google Play Listing reveals Poco F2 Pro to be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro

Poco made a return after a gap of more than a year with the Poco X2 which was just a rebranded Redmi K30 for the Indian market. Well, everyone is waiting for the successor of Poco F1 of 2018 which disrupted the whole smartphone market when it launched. Today, Google Play listing revealed that the Poco F2 Pro is coming soon and it is a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro! That wasn’t a surprise, right?

Props to Mishaal Rahman for sharing this information. The Google Play listing also revealed that the Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition wouldn’t launch under the Poco brand and so, the F2 Pro is the standard K30 Pro with no telephoto lens.

As per Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Redmi K30 Pro would launch as Poco F2 Pro in the European Market but not in India. In India, it would launch under the Redmi brand since the phone has already cleared BIS. So, that makes everything more confusing. Does that mean Poco is working on a different device instead of rebranding the K30 Pro for India? Well, we have no idea as of now.

Anyways, since we know now that the Poco F2 Pro would be a rebranded K30 Pro, the specs include a 6.67-inch E3 AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch-response-rate, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G SOC, a 4,700mAh battery, 33W fast charging, Quad rear cameras (64MP IMX686 + 13MP UltraWide + 5MP Telephoto Macro + 2MP Depth sensor) and a 20 Megapixel pop-up selfie camera.
