Earlier this month, we learned the specifications of the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset via Digital Chat Station (Weibo). The specifications revealed an interesting CPU configuration featuring no efficiency-based cores. The chip reportedly has one prime Cortex-X4 core, three Cortex-X4 cores, and four Cortex-A720 cores. This suggests that the CPU is all about performance. And well, that was proved by the benchmark result on AnTuTu.
AnTuTu shared this benchmark result on Weibo, and the Dimensity 9300 has shattered all the records.
On AnTuTu Benchmark, MediaTek Dimensity 9300 scores over 2 Million points, a new record among Android smartphone chipsets. The benchmark confirmed the CPU and GPU configuration, so there are four Cortex-X4 cores, four Cortex-A720 cores, and an Immortalis-G720 GPU.
It is worth mentioning that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 is also reported to score 2 Million+ points on the AnTuTu benchmark, but we haven’t got any benchmark report of the 8 Gen 3 yet.
So, for now, it is safe to say that the Dimensity 9300 is currently leading the AnTuTu benchmark chart.
