Three days are now left for the launch of Xiaomi Mi 9 in China, and we are getting new details about the phone every passing day. The company itself has revealed so many details of the phone that there is hardly anything left to know. Recently, a leak revealed that the price of the Mi 9 would start at 2,499 Yuan. As we mentioned in the article covering that leak, you should consider it with a pinch of salt because well, it is a leak after all.
Today, yet another leak revealed an interesting feature of the Xiaomi Mi 9. The phone might feature 20W Fast Wireless charging. Now, wireless charging is a rare thing for a ‘Mi’ flagship (not ‘Mix’) as the Mi 8 didn’t have it last year. Also, there are some sources claiming that this latest leak is fake and the phone doesn’t have 20W Fast wireless charging.
As the image above shows, we can see the Xiaomi Mi 9 in the retail box. Some of the specifications that this image reconfirms include Snapdragon 855 clocked at 2.84GHz, a 48MP primary camera on the rear & a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with the fingerprint scanner under it.
Finally, we have the 20W Fast Wireless Charging support. Right now, the Wireless Charger from Meizu for the Meizu Zero delivers the fastest wireless charging at 18W. So, if this new leak is legit, we’ll see Xiaomi taking the crown from Meizu.
Despite all the details that the company has shared on its official social media pages, there is still no mention of Wireless charging. So, we will advise you to consider this new leak with a pinch of salt.
