Almost a month after the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, the phone launched in India today. As we know, it is the most feature-packed phone Xiaomi has launched to date and blows many devices out of the water when compared to it. In India, Xiaomi launched this phone in a single 12GB + 256GB variant, and the price is Rs 69,999. Some of the crazy specs of this phone include a 120Hz 2KQuad-Curved E4 AMOLED panel, Snapdragon 888 SOC, 50 Megapixel Samsung GN2 sensor, two 48 Megapixel sensors, Secondary display on the rear, Gorilla Glass Victus, a 5,000mAh battery, IP68 rating, and more.

Design-wise, there is a Ceramic Back which is a fingerprint magnet but also looks and feels really premium. There is a massive camera bump that covers almost the whole width of the phone. Xiaomi added a secondary display in this camera module so you can do things like taking selfies via the rear cameras, check the time, etc. When it comes to cameras, this phone is all about Quality and not Quantity. There aren’t four or five cameras on the back but rather three high-quality camera sensors.

The primary camera has a 50 Megapixel Samsung GN2 sensor, and it is the largest sensor (1/1.12”) to date for smartphones. Then there is a 48 Megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor which is used for taking ultrawide shots. Finally, there is a periscope lens with another 48 Megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor, and this periscope unit is capable of up to 120X digital Zoom. Xiaomi added OIS for the primary as well as the periscope camera. All the three cameras on the back can shoot 8K videos!

On the front, there is a Quad-cured Samsung’s E4 AMOLED panel with a 2K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 480Hz touch-sampling rate. In short, this is one of the best displays on a smartphone right now. On top of all this, there is Gorilla Glass Victus, the strongest Gorilla glass ever. Under the hood, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has the Snapdragon 888 SOC, paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It is IP68 rated, has Stereo Speakers by Harman Kardon, and 67W Wired and wireless charging. It can also reverse charge other devices wirelessly at speeds up to 10W.

There is a 5,000mAh battery inside with a Silicon Oxygen anode.

In India, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra comes in only one storage option – 12GB + 256GB. It is priced at Rs 69,999, which puts it right in front of the OnePlus 9 Pro, which is cheaper than it at Rs 64,999. Comparing the specs of both, there is no doubt Mi 11 Ultra blows the OnePlus 9 Pro out of the water. What do you think of the pricing? Do let us know via the comments section below.
