The Vivo X100 Ultra is now official in the Chinese market, and this is the latest premium flagship from the brand and the most feature-packed phone in the “X100” series. The main USP of this phone is its camera hardware, as it is packing some crazy numbers. This phone has the potential to be one of the best camera phones of this year, if not the best.

Vivo X100 Ultra

Starting with the camera itself, the Vivo X100 Ultra has three cameras on the rear. The primary camera has a 1″ 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor with an f/1.75 lens and CIPA 4.5 image stabilization. The ultrawide camera has a 1/2″ 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with a 116-degree lens and f/2.2 aperture. Finally, the star of the show is the 1/1.4″ 200MP Samsung HP9 sensor with an 85mm lens and the same CIPA 4.5 image stabilization as the primary camera. This 1/1.4″ sensor makes it the phone with the largest camera sensor for a telephoto lens.

The optical zoom is 3.7x, which is lower than the 4.3x optical zoom offered on the Vivo X100 Pro. Still, a larger sensor and a higher megapixel count mean you can still zoom in further without seeing any noticeable drop in the image quality.

Vivo X100 Ultra

The phone features the Vivo V3+ imaging chip, which takes care of image processing.

Then there is the ZEISS collaboration, including the ZEISS T* coating to reduce the reflections and the ZEISS portrait modes in the camera app.

For the selfies, the phone uses a 50MP sensor with autofocus.

Speaking of videos, the Vivo X100 Ultra is capable of shooting 4K 120fps videos, 4K portrait videos, and 4K 60fps Dolby Vision HDR videos.

As for the rest of the features, the Vivo X100 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, unlike other phones in this series that use MediaTek chipsets. There is LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.0 storage. The phone also supports two-way satellite communication in China, only in the 16GB + 1TB model.

Vivo X100 Ultra

The phone is IP69 & IP68 certified, has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display, stereo speakers, triple microphones, and an X-axis linear motor.

The battery is 5,500mAh, and the phone supports 80W wired + 30W wireless charging.

The display is a 6.78-inch 120Hz 120-bit Samsung E7 AMOLED with LTPO, a Quad-HD+ resolution, and 3000 nits peak brightness. There is 1440Hz PWM dimming and support for Dolby Vision.

Finally, Android 14-based OriginOS 4 runs out of the box.

Vivo X100 Ultra comes in three colors, and here is the pricing –
