Vivo X100 Ultra camera specifications shared online

The camera hardware is quite impressive!

Back in November, the Vivo X100 series was launched in the Chinese market, featuring the X100 & X100 Pro, both with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 chipset. The main USP of these was the camera setup. The brand is now all set to launch a couple of new phones under this series, the Vivo X100s & the Vivo X100 Ultra. As the names suggest, the Vivo X100 Ultra is going to be the most expensive phone under the X100 series, hence the most feature-packed.

Vivo has given us the first look at the camera module design of the Vivo X100 Ultra on Weibo, and today, we also got to know the camera specifications via Digital Chat Station.

As the images above reveal, the design of the X100 Ultra is similar to other phones in this series. There is a big circular camera module on the rear with a triple camera setup and the ZEISS branding. Looking at the images, it is quite likely that the phone features a Titanium alloy frame.

The camera module also has some camera specifications. It reveals that the primary camera on this phone has an f/1.75 aperture lens, while the periscope telephoto camera has an f/2.67 aperture. The periscope camera has an 85mm lens.

As for the sensors, Digital Chat Station has revealed that the Vivo X100 Ultra features a 1-inch 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor for the primary camera. This camera has CIPA 4.5 SLR-level image stabilization, something the Vivo X100 also had. The ultrawide camera uses a 50MP sensor, most likely the same as the Vivo X100 Pro. Finally, the periscope camera has a 1/1.4″ 200MP Samsung HP9 sensor. This sensor has not been announced by Samsung, so it is quite likely to make its debut with the X100 Ultra. As for the zoom, the Vivo X100 Ultra offers around 3.7x optical zoom. For comparison, the Vivo X100 Pro offers a 4.3x optical zoom.

As per Ice Universe, the Vivo X100 Ultra has the best telephoto camera among all the Android flagships launched in 2024.

The rest of the specifications are not yet known, and there is no official announcement on the launch date yet.
