As we know already, the Vivo T2 is set to launch in China on the 6th of June, and it is a high-end device from the brand that is likely a rebranded iQOO Neo 6 SE. It is the successor to the Vivo T1 that launched in China in November last year with Snapdragon 778G. But, if you do not know, there was another phone that launched under the Vivo “T” series last year named the Vivo T1x. It launched with Dimensity 900 SOC & was more affordable than the Vivo T1. This time as well, along with the Vivo T2, there is the Vivo T2x.
Digital Chat Station shared the key specifications of the T2x on Weibo, and they’re pretty interesting.
The Vivo T2x is coming with the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SOC, so that is a significant upgrade over the Dimensity 900 of Vivo T1x. The Dimensity 1300 is the same SOC that powers the OnePlus NORD 2T & the recently launched Oppo Reno 8. Along with this chipset, the T2x has a massive 6,000mAh battery. So that is a very interesting combination. The display size is the same at 6.58-inch, and it is still a 120Hz LCD. The charging speed is also the same as last year, i.e., 44W.
As for the cameras, there are two on the rear where the primary camera has a 50MP sensor (vs. 64MP), whereas the secondary camera has a 2MP sensor. There is a 16MP selfie camera (vs. 8MP).
Finally, thanks to such a large battery, the thickness is 9.21mm (vs. 8.5mm), and the phone weighs around 202g (vs. 189g).
The price is still a mystery.
