A few days back, the hands-on video of the Sony Xperia XA3 revealed that long 21:9 display which is something we will see on the high-end Xperia XZ4 as well. The XA3 and XA3 Plus are expected to launch at the MWC Barcelona, but today, a source revealed that Sony just changed the names of these two phones. According to Ishan Agarwal, Sony has changed the names of XA3 and XA3 Plus to Sony Xperia 10 and 10 Plus respectively.
The reason for this name change could be the change in design since the design of the Xperia 10 and 10 Plus is completely different from previous Sony phones. Now, since the names are now changed, the same cannot be said for the Sony Xperia XZ4 which also has a similar design with 21:9 display.
Not much is known about the specifications of the Sony Xperia 10 & 10 Plus. We might see Snapdragon 660 powering the Xperia 10+, along with 4GB RAM, 64GB ROM, and a 3,500mAh battery. There are dual cameras on the back that are expected to include 12MP + a depth sensor.
Both the phones are expected to launch at the Mobile World Congress.
