Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus – Here’s how it will look like

The design is not very different from this year's S21 Plus

In our last article, we talked about the leaked design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Apart from that, OnLeaks also shared the renders of Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, which will be sitting between the regular S22 & top of the line S22 Ultra in terms of pricing and features. The renders of the phone were shared exclusively with 91Mobiles, and they show that while the S22 Ultra is getting a design overhaul compared to the S21 Ultra, that’s not the case with the S22 Plus.

As the renders reveal, the Galaxy S22 Plus has a similar design as the S21 Plus. So, you get the same contour-cut camera module design, and the camera count is also the same. There is a flat display on the front with a hole punch cutout in the middle, and going by the renders, the bezels seem pretty thin, almost non-existent.

As for the ports, you get a USB Type-C port on the bottom along with the speaker grill. The power button and the volume rockers are on the right side. One thing worth mentioning is that the information OnLeaks got regarding the design included the name of the phone as “Galaxy S22 Pro,” so there are also changes of Samsung changing its naming style next year. Anyways, talking about the dimensions, the phone roughly measures 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6mm, and when that camera bump is also included, then the maximum thickness of the phone is 9.1mm.

So, the Galaxy S22 Plus isn’t going to look different as compared to the S21 Plus, and the only change is going to be in the spec sheet.
