In February this year, Samsung Galaxy M30 launched in India with triple cameras & at the time of its launch, it was the first phone to launch in India with triple cameras under Rs 15,000. Fast Forward to today, we now have Quad Camera phones like Realme 5 under Rs 10,000 in India. Samsung is soon going to upgrade its already launched Galaxy M series devices as we are getting phones like the Samsung Galaxy M20s & Galaxy M30s pretty soon.
Today, the official render of the Samsung Galaxy M30s leaked revealing the design of the phone from the back. And spoiler alert, the Galaxy M30s isn’t that good looking from the rear.
As you can see, the Samsung Galaxy M30s has triple cameras just like the Galaxy M30, but this time, there is a change in the design of the camera module. So now, the triple cameras along with the LED flash are placed in a rectangular housing & it seems like Samsung decided to copy the camera module design of upcoming iPhones & the Pixel phones but failed miserably. The fingerprint scanner is also placed on the back, just like on the Galaxy M30.
Now, the back panel is still plastic like all the other Galaxy M series phones, but that’s not a big issue at all. While there is no image of the phone showing its front design, it is likely retaining the Infinity-U display from the Galaxy M30. Another render shows the side of the phone & as we can see, there is no camera bump, so that’s a good thing.
One of the highlights of the Samsung Galaxy M30s is going to be its battery. The Galaxy M30 already has a massive 5,000mAh battery, but the Galaxy M30s will take it even further by having a 6,000mAh battery, the biggest on any Samsung phone till date. So, this means it is going to be an absolute battery powerhouse, thanks to that
huge battery size.
Apart from that, the Galaxy M30s might feature the Exynos 9611 chipset which is not announced yet but sounds like an upgrade to the Exynos 9610. Coming to the cameras, there are reports that the Samsung Galaxy M30s has a primary 48 Megapixel rear camera, along with an 8 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera & a 5-megapixel depth sensor.
Now, this 48 Megapixel sensor is definitely the Samsung GM1 or GM2 & not the Sony IMX 586 as it would be weird if Samsung goes for a 48 Megapixel sensor from Sony instead of its own 48 Megapixel sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera. There would be at least two storage options that is, 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM & 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM.
Well, there is no information on the pricing yet & also, we don’t know the exact launch date of the Samsung Galaxy M30s. We do know that it is launching in September so let’s see at what price the Galaxy M30s comes to the Indian market. What do you think of the design of Galaxy M30s & the rumoured specifications?
