This year, Samsung changed its smartphone strategy in the budget segment & launched the Galaxy ‘M’ and the new Galaxy ‘A’ series. We got some interesting phones in both the M and A series this year, but in 2020, it’s going to be even more exciting.
Today, we got the details regarding the camera specifications of Samsung Galaxy A series 2020 phones & there are at least eight phones launching last year under the “A” series, from the Galaxy A21 to the Galaxy A91.
Starting off with the Samsung Galaxy A21, it will be an upgrade to the Galaxy A20 & is going to feature triple rear cameras, an upgrade over the dual cameras on A20. There will be a primary 13MP camera, a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera & a third 5MP depth sensor.
Then, there is the Samsung Galaxy A31, an upgrade over the A30 of last year. Again, it is coming with triple cameras & unlike the A21, the A31 has a 16MP primary rear camera. The rest of the two cameras are the same.
The Samsung Galaxy A41 is also getting a triple camera setup with a primary 24MP camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera & a 5MP depth sensor.
We got triple cameras with the Galaxy A50 & the Samsung Galaxy A51 is coming with Quad cameras. So, there is a primary 32MP camera, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2X Optical Zoom & a 5MP depth sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy A61 is also coming with Quad cameras & there is a primary 48MP camera, a secondary 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 10MP telephoto with 2X Optical Zoom, & a 5MP depth sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy A71 also has a Quad camera setup, but instead of a fourth depth sensor, it has a TOF sensor. The primary shooter is a 48MP unit, there is a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens & a third 12MP telephoto with 2X Optical Zoom.
The Samsung Galaxy A80 was quite an interesting phone from the brand with that pop-up + rotating camera mechanism. The Galaxy A81 will feature a 64MP primary camera, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, a 12MP telephoto with 2X or 5X Optical Zoom & a fourth TOF sensor.
Finally, we have the Samsung Galaxy A91, that’s coming with the 108MP primary camera, a 16MP secondary ultra-wide-angle camera, a 12MP telephoto with 5X Optical Zoom & a fourth TOF sensor.
Well, the specifications are definitely interesting as Samsung is now going for more than two rear cameras on every Samsung A series 2020 phone. What do you think of the camera specifications? Do let us know via the comments section.
