Samsung has become very serious about the budget smartphone market in India, and so far in 2019, we have seen two ‘M’ series phones under Rs 15,000. The Galaxy M30 is launching on February 27 but just a day after, some Samsung Galaxy A series phones will be launched.

The registrations for the launch are now open as you can see in the screenshot above. The launch of the new Galaxy A series phones will take place on February 28, i.e., on the same day when Xiaomi is launching the Redmi Note 7 in India. So, it looks like Samsung wants to grab the limelight that day with its A series phones.
Samsung is definitely going to launch a lot of phones in the budget segment this year and that’s not surprising since the Senior VP, Mobile Marketing, Samsung India, Ranjiv Singh, told Economic Times in an interview that they are creating a whole portfolio for the A series, which they will be launching from March. Till June, they will launch phones every month.
Just like the ‘M’ series phones, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A series will include phones not only in the budget segment but also in the mid-range segment.
The Samsung Galaxy A10, A20, and A30 are already confirmed to launch in India, but there is also the Samsung Galaxy A50 with an in-screen fingerprint scanner. Apart from these, there are Galaxy A40, A70, A90, etc. So yes, Samsung is bringing a lot of phones in the budget and mid-range market to compete with the likes of Xiaomi, Honor, etc.
Let’s see what phones are going to launch in India on February 28.
