The Redmi Note 11 series is now official in the global market, and there are four new phones under this lineup, named Note 11, Note 11S, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro 5G. Compared to the phones available in China, the ones available globally are entirely different. So, do not confuse the global variants with the ones available in China.

REDMI NOTE 11

REDMI NOTE 11

Let’s start with the cheapest phone under this series, the vanilla Redmi Note 11. Design-wise, it has a flat frame which is something we are getting on a lot of phones these days are it makes the phone look more premium. There is a polycarbonate build, so nothing special here in terms of the design. The phone has a display with a hole punch in the middle and a big bottom bezel. There are four cameras on the back, a USB Type-C port on the bottom, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, along with the IR blaster. The fingerprint scanner is on the side, not under the display.

The display on the front is a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED with up to 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch-sampling rate. The peak brightness of this panel is 1000 nits. Under the hood, there is the Snapdragon 680 SOC which is built on the 6nm process and does not support 5G. There is 4/6GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable via a microSD card of up to 1TB.

The quad-camera array on the rear includes a primary 50MP camera, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. There is support for 1080p video recording up to 30fps. For selfies, you get a 13MP camera on the front. Redmi Note 11 has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging. Finally, Android 11-based MIUI 13 runs out of the box.

REDMI NOTE 11

Redmi Note 11 comes in three colors in the global market named Star Blue, Twilight Blue, and Graphite Gray. Here is the pricing for the global market –

  • 4GB + 64GB – $179
  • 4GB + 128GB – $199
  • 6GB + 128GB – $229

There is also an early-bird discount of $20 from 28th to 29th January, bringing the starting price down to $159.

REDMI NOTE 11S

The Redmi Note 11S is not different from the vanilla Note 11 when it comes to design. It has the same design that includes a flat frame, a quad-camera setup, a flat display with a centered hole punch, etc. Some specifications are similar too. For example, it has the same 6.43-inch 90Hz FHD+ AMOLED and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. The fingerprint scanner is still present on the side, and there are stereo speakers.

The main USP of the Redmi Note 11S is its primary camera on the back. Compared to the 50MP sensor that Redmi Note 11 has, Redmi Note 11S has a 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor with an f/1.9 aperture lens and 0.7μm pixel size. The rest of the camera setup is the same. So, there is a second 8MP ultrawide, a third 2MP macro, and a fourth 2MP depth sensor. There is a 16MP selfie camera this time, compared to a 13MP sensor on the Note 11.

Another difference between the two phones is in the performance. Redmi Note 11S has the MediaTek Helio G96 SOC, and it is paired with 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB UFS 2.2 storage that is expandable. The Note 11S also has LiquidCool technology.

The color options are named Pearl White, Twilight Blue, and Graphite Gray. Here is the pricing for the global market –

  • 6GB + 64GB – $249
  • 6GB + 128GB – $279
  • 8GB + 128GB – $299

Just as for the Redmi Note 11, there is an early bird discount of $20 from January 28th to 29th that brings the starting price of Note 11S down to $229.

REDMI NOTE 11 PRO

REDMI NOTE 11 PRO

It is time to talk about the “Pro” phones now. There are two “Pro” phones under the Redmi Note 11 series in the global market, and the cheaper one is named Redmi Note 11 Pro. So, there is no 5G in its name because it simply does not support 5G networks. It has the same flat-frame design as the previous two phones we talked about above. There is a similar-looking camera module on the back with a quad-camera setup in it, the same port and button placement, and also the same front design.

Interestingly, the Redmi Note 11 Pro has the same SOC as the Note 11S, i.e., the MediaTek Helio G96. The storage options are the same too.

REDMI NOTE 11 PRO

The display on the front is a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness. The panel has up to 360Hz touch-response rate and is protected with Gorilla Glass 5.

REDMI NOTE 11 PRO

The camera module on the back includes a primary 108MP HM2 sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, a 2MP macro, and a 2MP depth sensor. So, the camera setup is the same as for the Note 11S. There is the same 16MP selfie shooter too.

REDMI NOTE 11 PRO

The battery size is also the same at 5,000mAh, but the charging speed gets an upgrade as the Redmi Note 11 Pro supports 67W fast charging. There is a hybrid SIM card slot, so unlike the Redmi Note 11 & Note 11S, you cannot add two SIM cards as well as a microSD card at the same time.

Finally, regarding pricing, Redmi Note 11 Pro comes in three colors named Graphite Gray, Polar White, and Star Blue. Here is the pricing –

  • 6GB + 64GB – $299
  • 6GB + 128GB – $329
  • 8GB + 128GB – $349

REDMI NOTE 11 PRO 5G

REDMI NOTE 11 PRO 5G

Finally, the most expensive phone under the Redmi Note 11 series is the 5G variant of Note 11 Pro. Design-wise, it comes with a glass back and a flat-frame design. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top, stereo speakers, IR Blaster, a flat-screen with a hole punch in the middle, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. Interestingly, the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G has only three cameras on the back instead of four.

Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G SOC, so that’s one significant difference between the Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G. Apart from this, there is the same 6.67-inch AMOLED with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 1200 nits peak brightness, and FHD+ resolution. There is a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.

REDMI NOTE 11 PRO 5G

The camera setup includes a primary 108MP Samsung HM2 sensor, a second 8MP ultrawide, and a third 2MP macro shooter. So, there is no 2MP depth sensor like the other three phones, which is not a big deal. The selfie shooter has a 16MP sensor.

Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G comes in three colors named Polar White, Graphite Gray, and Atlantic Blue. Here is the pricing for the global market –

  • 6GB + 64GB – $329
  • 6GB + 128GB – $349
  • 8GB + 128GB – $379

The Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro 5G will be available to buy next month.
