Redmi Note 11 Pro to feature 120Hz AMOLED, officially confirmed

It cannot be said whether the same is the case for the vanilla Note 11

Redmi Note 11 series is set to go official on the 28th of October, and less than a week is now left for the launch. Well, there were already leaks related to a 120Hz AMOLED panel on the Pro version, and now, the company has officially announced the same on its Weibo page. The company posted a lot of images that showcase the AMOLED panel on the phone but only in one post it mentioned “Note 11 Pro”. So, we assume the vanilla variant still has an LCD, and only the Pro version gets an AMOLED panel.

So, as all these images reveal, the Redmi Note 11 Pro has a 120Hz AMOLED panel, and there is a tiny hole punch in the middle that is having a diameter of just 2.96mm. The bezels on the sides are also quite slim at just 1.75mm.

In another post, the company showcased the Note 11 in two colors – Green & Purple, in both of which this phone looks stunning. The company also said that there is an Anti-Glare Matte Glass on the back for a premium look and also to reduce the fingerprints that you get on a glossy glass back.

Speaking of the specifications, the company has not yet revealed any more details, but the same user who shared the specs of Note 11 & Note 11 Pro earlier, has now shared the detailed specifications of all the three phones under this series. Yes! There is the third phone as well, and that’s the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus!

As per the user, the vanilla model has a 6.5-inch 120Hz LCD, a 5,000mAh battery, 33W fast charging support, and a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor on the back. The display gets Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection as well! The frame is made of an aluminum alloy. The vanilla model lacks a stereo speaker setup which makes us believe that all the images that the company has been sharing on Weibo so far show the Note 11 Pro or Pro Max and not the vanilla model. The Note 11 Pro comes with a 120Hz Samsung’s E3 AMOLED panel, UFS 3.1 storage + LPDDR4X RAM, a 5,000mAh battery, 67W fast charging, a 108MP Samsung HM2 camera sensor on the back, Gorilla Glass Victus, stereo speakers tuned by JBL, and an X-axis linear motor.

And finally, there is the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus which has the same 120Hz Samsung’s E3 AMOLED panel, but this one has the most powerful MediaTek chipset of this year, the Dimensity 1200-AI! There is UFS 3.1 storage, LPDDR4X RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery. The biggest USP of this phone is that it supports 120W fast charging, the fastest charging speed a Redmi Note device has ever supported. The rest of the specs are the same as the Note 11 Pro.

Speaking of the expected pricing in China, the Redmi Note 11 is expected to start at 1,199 Yuan, the Note 11 Pro at  1,599 Yuan, and the Note 11 Pro Plus at 2,199 Yuan.
