About a week ago, Redmi announced the 64MP camera tech on a smartphone & said that it is going to launch a smartphone soon with the 64MP Samsung GW1 sensor on the rear. Now, it is speculated to be the Redmi Note 8 Pro but that’s not confirmed yet. Today, however, it was revealed on Weibo that Redmi 64MP camera phone is now being mass-produced which means the launch could happen soon in China.
Redmi uploaded a video on Weibo that shows the phone being mass-produced & while the name wasn’t revealed, we can notice a Quad Camera setup on the rear where the main 64MP camera is placed in the middle and the other three cameras around it.
Redmi has already announced that it would launch a phone with the recently launched MediaTek Helio G90T SOC & interestingly, this chipset supports up to 64MP camera. So, this upcoming Redmi 64MP phone could launch with this processor.
