Realme GT Neo 5 to feature RGB light & transparent design

The design is indeed unique

Realme GT Neo 5 is an upcoming flagship phone from the brand launching in China first. The launch date is February 9, and the company has now shared the full design of the phone via images & videos on its Weibo profile. The company shared the images and videos of the purple color option, and the main design highlight is the transparent section on the back with an RGB light.

Design-wise, the Realme GT Neo 5 has a glass back with a matte finish. The purple variant has stripes on the rear with a glossy finish. The area around the camera module is black, and there are three camera sensors inside the camera module.

On the right side of the camera module, there is a transparent section with the RGB light. This RGB light sits around the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 sticker, which confirms the chipset. Other features are also mentioned on the back, including a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with OIS, SuperVOOC charging, NFC, and IR Blaster.

Since it is an RGB light, it is not limited to showing only one color. There are up to 25 different colors to choose from, as per Realme. This means you can set the RGB light to any specific color for any specific scenario. For example, if the phone’s battery is low, the ring will light up red. If you get a text, you will see green color. If the phone is charging, the ring will light up in purple.

We already know the specifications of the Realme GT Neo 5. The phone has a 6.7-inch 1.5K 144Hz 10-bit OLED display, Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, Android 13, a 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup, and a 16MP selfie camera.

There are two versions of the phone regarding battery and charging speed. One with a 5,000mAh battery and 150W charging, and the other with a 4,600mAh battery and 240W charging.
