Realme 7i with Snapdragon 662 & 90Hz display launched in India

Realme launched a lot of products in the Indian market today, from the 4K SLED TV to the Smart Cam 360-degree & Wireless Buds. The Realme 7i was also unveiled along with all these products & it is a budget offering from the brand featuring a 90Hz display, 64 Megapixel Quad camera setup, a 5,000mAH battery & more for a starting price of Rs 11,999.

It is worth mentioning that the phone launched in the Indonesian market last month.

While it might seem like a successor of Realme 6i, the specs suggest otherwise. While the Realme 6i offered a 90Hz Full-HD+ LCD, the Realme 7i offers a 90Hz 720p LCD. Also, the biggest downgrade comes in the form of the SOC. There is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset powering the 7i which is nowhere near the MediaTek Helio G90T when it comes to the performance.

The Quad camera setup of the 7i includes a primary 64 Megapixel sensor with f/1.8 aperture lens, a secondary 8 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter, a third B&W Sensor & a fourth 2MP Macro camera. There is a 16 Megapixel selfie camera with the Sony IMX471 sensor.

Finally, there is a 5,000mAh battery & 18W Fast Charging support via the Type-C port.

Realme 7i comes in two colors named Fusion Green & Fusion Blue. There are two storage options & here is the pricing for India –

  • 4GB + 64GB – Rs 11,999
  • 4GB + 128GB – Rs 12,999

The first sale takes place on the 16th of October & you can buy the phone online via Realme.com & Flipkart.
