The Poco X5 series was launched in the global market in February last year, including the Poco X5 & Poco X5 Pro. Today, the Poco X6 series was launched in the global market, and both the Poco X6 & Poco X6 Pro come with some notable upgrades over the predecessors.
It is worth mentioning that the X6 is a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Pro & the X6 Pro is a rebranded Redmi K70E.
POCO X6
Poco X6 looks identical to the Redmi Note 13 Pro except for the blue color option, which the Note 13 Pro doesn’t have. The phone also has a different design around the camera module, like every Poco phone. There are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos. The phone retains the 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
Poco X6 has a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset under the hood, with up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB UFS 2.2 storage. For comparison, the Poco X5 was launched with the Snapdragon 695 SOC.
There is a 6.67-inch 1.5K (2712 × 1220 pixels) 12-bit AMOLED display with 1800 nits peak brightness, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. There is an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The battery is 5,100mAh, and the phone supports 67W fast charging. The 67W adapter is provided in the box.
On the back, the Poco X6 has three cameras. The primary camera has a 64MP sensor with an f/1.79 lens and OIS, the ultrawide camera has an 8MP sensor, and the macro camera has a 2MP sensor. It is worth mentioning that the Redmi Note 13 Pro has a 200MP Samsung HP3 sensor with OIS. There is a 16MP selfie camera. The phone can shoot 4K 30fps videos via the primary rear camera.
Here is the pricing –

POCO X6 PRO
The Poco X6 Pro is a performance-centric phone from the brand and a re-branded Redmi K70E. Like the Poco X6, the X6 Pro looks identical to its Redmi counterpart, except for a different paint job (with a vegan leather finish) and the design around the camera module.
The main USP of this phone is its chipset. It has the MediaTek Dimensity 8300-ULTRA SOC under the hood. This is a very powerful mid-range chip by MediaTek, which beats the likes of the Snapdragon 870, 888, 888+, 8 Gen 1, and even the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2. On top of all this, there is LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, something we are used to seeing on flagship phones. All this makes it one of the most powerful phones in its price segment.
Apart from the chipset, the Poco X6 Pro has an impressive spec sheet. There is a 6.67-inch 1.5K 12-bit AMOLED display with Dolby Vision, HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1800 nits peak brightness. The panel supports 1920Hz PWM dimming, and there is an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The camera setup is similar to the Poco X6 – a 64MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro. The battery is 5,000mAh, and there is 67W fast charging.
Finally, the Poco X6 Pro runs on Android 14 out of the box with HyperOS, unlike the Poco X6 which runs on MIUI 14.
