The Redmi K90 & Redmi K90 Pro Max were launched in China in October last year with Snapdragon 8 Elite & Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipsets, respectively. Both phones had massive batteries, but the Redmi K90 Pro Max featured 50W wireless charging, a 5x periscope telephoto camera on the rear, and a large 6.9-inch display. The brand is all set to unveil another phone in the K90 series named the Redmi K90 Max. The launch date is not yet official, but the brand has announced that it is launching the phone this month in China.
Redmi has started teasing the launch with some fresh teasers on Weibo, and they reveal the main USP of the Redmi K90 Max. The phone is coming with a built-in cooling fan. As per the brand, the air intake volume is up to 30% more than the competitors, and the fan noise is as low as 32dB. In just 100 seconds, the temperature of the phone can drop by up to 10 degrees when the fan is running on max speed.
Finally, despite having a moving component, the Redmi K90 Max is IP66/68/69 certified.
As per Digital Chat Station, the Redmi K90 Max features a 165Hz display. For comparison, the K90 and K90 Pro Max feature a 120Hz display. This shows that the Redmi K90 Max is a gaming-centric phone.
We do not know anything else for now, but Redmi will reveal more details soon. Stay tuned.
