[UPDATE – More Details] Poco X3 tipped to launch in September, render surfaces online

UPDATE – SOME MORE DETAILS & REAR DESIGN ARE NOW HERE (VIA)

The source has now given us a look at the rear design of the phone & as we can see, there is a Quad camera setup on the back placed in a odd looking camera module. Again, we are not sure about the authenticity of this render so consider it with a pinch of salt.

The source also mentions that the phone has the unannounced Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G chipset & a 64 Megapixel primary rear camera.

Poco made a comeback this year with the Poco X2 which launched in February in the Indian market. It was just a rebranded Redmi K30 4G, but still, at the time of its launch, it was priced at Rs 15,999 which made it an extremely good value for money device. And even today, it is one of the best phones to get under Rs 20,000 in India.

It looks like Poco is preparing to launch the successor soon since a source on Twitter by the name “TheLeaks” tweeted that the Poco X3 is launching in September. How reliable is this source? Well, we cannot say, but the track record of this source is pretty impressive when it comes to leaks.

Poco X3

That’s not it! The source shared a render today which shows the front design of Poco X3. This render shows that the X3 is coming with a single hole-punch cutout as opposed to the dual hole-punch cutout on the X2. This time, the hole-punch cutout is placed in the center instead of on the left or right. We can also see that there is 3.5mm headphone jack on the bottom along with the USB Type-C port & the speaker grill.

Now, this looks like a render based on some information received by the source, so it is most likely not the official render of Poco X3.

Another tweet by the source reveals that the X3 comes with a 120Hz display just like its predecessor but bumps up the battery to 5,160mAh. Finally, the source revealed that the starting price of the phone is going to remain between $199-$249 (Rs 14,999 -Rs 18,499), which is impressive!

Well, we cannot say how accurate these leaked details are so let’s hope to get more information about the Poco X3 if it is indeed launching soon.
