Poco F2 confirmed via the trademark application from Xiaomi

“When will Poco F2 launch?”

Well, this was a question that a ton of users were asking Xiaomi & its officials last year. The Poco F1 launched in 2018 & it disrupted the whole smartphone market by offering crazy features for a price of $300 like Snapdragon 845 SOC, Liquid Cooling, 4,000mAh battery, Dual cameras & more. As a result, it sold like hotcakes when it was launched in the market.

It looks like we can now say that in 2020, the Poco F2 is definitely launching because a trademark application filed by Xiaomi has confirmed the name. This trademark application was filed in China, so you may say that this is fake because the Poco brand doesn’t exist in China. Well, in case you don’t know, in 2018 as well, the trademark application for the Poco F1 was filed in China a couple of months prior to the official launch.

So, this might be a huge hint at the arrival of the Poco F2 in a couple of months to the market. This has raised a lot of questions, one of which is the existence of Redmi K30 Pro. Last year, the Redmi K20 Pro launched as a flagship from Redmi & hence, Xiaomi didn’t launch a flagship under the Poco brand.

So, if the F2 launches this year, then it is hard to say if the Redmi K30 Pro would launch as well. If both phones launch this year, then both would be competing with each other for sure.
