Poco launching rebranded Redmi phones is not a new thing. Today, the company launched yet another rebadged Redmi phone. The Poco C50 launched in the Indian market, and it is a rebrand of the Redmi A1+, which was unveiled in October last year. Another thing that Poco does is launch the same phone at a lower price. And this time as well, the story is the same. The Poco C50 starts at ₹6,499, meaning ₹1000 lower than the starting price of the Redmi A1+.
There is no change in the design or color options. The only difference is that the phone says “Poco” on the rear instead of “Redmi.” The specifications are the same too. Poco didn’t even change the UI on this device, as it is the same Android 12 Go experience as the Redmi A1+.
You get a 6.52-inch 720p LCD, Helio A22 chipset, 2GB/3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 5,000mAh battery, 10W charging, 8MP rear camera, and a 5MP selfie camera.
There are two storage options, and here is the pricing for the Indian market –
2GB + 32GB – ₹6,499
3GB + 32GB – ₹7,299
The first sale takes place on January 10, and in that sale, you can get the 2GB variant for ₹6,249 and the 3GB variant for ₹6,999.
