This is the Oppo’s under display selfie camera phone

At the beginning of June, Oppo showcased the under display selfie camera technology & it was expected that we would see the first Oppo device with this technology at the MWC Shanghai. Today, Oppo officially revealed that it is indeed happening at MWC Shanghai on June 26th & we now have our first look at the phone from the front.

The teaser shows how Oppo has introduced unique camera technologies like the flip camera on the Oppo N1, the slider on the Oppo Find X, the first smartphone with Waterdrop notch, & shark-fin camera on the Oppo Reno & more.

Now, the company is bringing the first smartphone with under display selfie camera, which means there is no need for a cutout for the front camera. It is placed under the screen like the fingerprint reader & is used only when required. So, this enables the smartphone makers to make phones with incredibly high screen-to-body ratio.

Well, a couple of days are left for the official announcement to take place so let’s see what Oppo has to offer with this upcoming device.
