OnePlus Nord CE official promo video & images leaked

The phone is launching tomorrow

The OnePlus Nord CE is launching tomorrow in the European and Indian market. So far, we have got a lot of official teasers, unofficial leaks, and rumours regarding this phone. Recently, we got to know some major specifications of this phone. Well, today, Evan Blass went all out and shared the promo materials of the device that include a promo video and also a ton of official images showing the phone in all its colors.

The Nord CE is like the last year’s OnePlus Nord, but with some toned-down features, that’s why the name is “Core Edition.” Design-wise, it looks quite similar to the OnePlus Nord, especially from the back, where there is a vertically placed camera setup. This time, however, OnePlus went for three rear cameras instead of four. On the front as well, there is a reduction in the camera sensors.

In the case of the Nord of last year, there was a dual selfie camera setup, hence a pill-shaped cutout. But on the Nord CE, it is a single hole-punch cutout since there is only one selfie shooter.

We can also see that on the bottom, the phone now has a 3.5mm headphone jack placed alongside the Type-C port and the speaker grill. OnePlus phones are known for the alert slider, but on the Nord CE, there is no alert slider as such, which is disappointing. Moreover, while the Nord of last year featured a glass back, the Nord CE has a full polycarbonate build.

The promo video shared by Evan Blass confirmed some of the specifications, including the Warp Charge 30T Plus support, 5G support with Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SOC, a 64 Megapixel camera on the back, 7.9mm slim form factor, a Fluid AMOLED 90Hz display, Always on Display support, and a 4,500mAh battery.

Last year, the OnePlus Nord launched in India for a starting price of Rs 24,999, so the Nord CE is expected to start somewhere around Rs 22-23K. We’ll get to know the price tomorrow at the official event.
