The OnePlus 13T has launched in the Chinese market, and this is a high-end smartphone with the main USP being its size. Unlike the OnePlus 13 and 13R which are big phones with displays up to 6.82-inch, the OnePlus 13T is a compact phone with a 6.32-inch display. But despite being a smaller phone than the OnePlus 13, the 13T offers a similar level of performance.
Design-wise, the 13T looks quite different than the OnePlus 13 & 13R. There is no longer a circular camera module on the rear, and instead, we have a square-ish camera module with only two cameras and an LED flash. There is a glass back, and the phone has a flat metal frame. The phone has a stereo speaker setup, and it is IP65-certified.
There is no alert slider on the side as the phone has a new button on the left which can be mapped to one of the various functions such as changing the sound profile, flashlight, turning on the camera, audio recording, and more.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 13T has the same Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset as the OnePlus 13, with a CPU clocked at up to 4.32GHz. There is LPDDR5X RAM with UFS 4.0 storage. The phone scores almost 3 Million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, which is impressive for a phone this small. There is a 4400mm² vapor chamber for better thermals.
Apart from performance, the battery is also the highlight of this phone. The OnePlus 13 and 13R featured a massive 6,000mAh battery, but the OnePlus 13T has an even bigger battery at 6,260mAh. This is the largest battery in a smartphone with such a small display. The phone also supports 80W fast charging, but there is no wireless charging support.
In terms of the display, there is a 6.32-inch flat 1.5K 8T LTPO AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. There is an optical under-display fingerprint scanner.
Speaking of the cameras, the OnePlus 13T has a dual camera setup on the rear. The primary camera has a 50MP sensor with an f/1.8 lens and OIS support. There is no ultrawide camera, and instead, the phone has a 2x telephoto camera with a 50MP sensor. The selfie camera has a 16MP sensor. The phone can shoot 4K 60fps videos from the rear camera, but surprisingly, the selfie shooter is limited to recording 1080p videos at up to 30fps.
The phone runs on ColorOS 15 in the Chinese market.
