OnePlus has already announced that it is launching its next flagship, the OnePlus 11, in the global market on February 7. Today, we knew the phone would launch in the Chinese market a month before it debuts globally. The launch date for the Chinese market is January 4. This isn’t that surprising because this year, too, the OnePlus 10 Pro launched in the Chinese market in January, whereas in the global market in March.
OnePlus has already revealed the full design, and the company keeps sharing new photos and details of the phone. Design-wise, the only significant change compared to the OnePlus 10 Pro is the camera module. It is circular this time, and as per the brand, this is a “Black-hole” inspired camera module design. There are two color options, and these are the same colors that were there for the OnePlus 10 Pro, i.e., Black & Green. The Green color option has a back with a matte finish, whereas the Black color option has a sandstone finish.
The OnePlus 11 is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The base variant has 12GB RAM. There is a 6.7-inch Quad-HD+ AMOLED display with probably a 120Hz refresh rate. The battery size is 5,000mAh, and there is support for 100W fast charging. The triple camera setup on the back includes a 50MP primary shooter, a 48MP ultrawide, and a 32MP telephoto camera. There is a 16MP camera for selfies. Finally, Android 13 runs out of the box.
Well, the pricing is the only thing we do not know. The OnePlus 10 Pro launched in China at ¥4699 or approximately $675, so we expect the OnePlus 11 to start at or above ¥4999 or $720. In the global market, the OnePlus 10 Pro launched at $899, so the phone may touch the $1000 mark this time for the base variant.
