Nokia T20 Starting Price in India
₹15,499

Nokia launched its T20 tablet in the global markets almost a month ago, and today, the company brought the tablet to India. Nokia T20 is a budget Android tablet priced at ₹15,499, and at that price, this tablet offers features such as a 2K LCD panel on the front, a big 8,200mAh battery inside, Stereo speakers, and more. In the Indian market, this tablet will compete with the likes of Realme Pad, Galaxy Tabl A7 Lite by Samsung, etc.

Nokia T20

It is a budget tablet, so there isn’t anything special about the design. The tablet gets a plastic build, so there isn’t a metal build as in the case of Realme Pad. You also get only two speakers on this tablet as compared to four on the Realme Pad. The USB Type-C port is present on the bottom, and there is also a headphone jack that is placed in a pretty weird location at the bottom left corner. So, while using this tablet in the landscape orientation, the headphone jack connector will surely get in your way.

On the front, Nokia T20 has a big 10.4-inch display, and it is an LCD with a 2K resolution (1200 x 2000 pixels) and 400 nits of brightness. The chipset powering this tablet is the UNISOC T610 which is a 12nm SOC with an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A75 cores @1.8GHz & six Cortex-A55 cores @1.8GHz. The CPU arrangement is quite similar to the Helio G80 (it is also a 12nm SOC) that is there inside the Realme Pad, but the only difference is that Helio G80’s Cortex-A75 cores are clocked at 2.0GHz, so the performance is going to be slightly better in the case of the Realme tablet.

Nokia T20

There is either 3GB or 4GB LPDDR4X RAM paired with 32GB or 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage. The battery size is 8,200mAh, so the battery is 1,100mAh, bigger than what the Realme Pad has. You can charge the Nokia T20 with a 15W charger, but in the box, you get only a 10W adapter. Finally, speaking of the cameras, there is a single 8MP camera on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter.

Nokia T20 runs on Android 11 out of the box, and it will also receive OS updates for the next two years. Looking at Nokia’s track record of Android updates, we might see the Android 12L update for this tablet soon after the stable version rolls out.

Finally, speaking of the pricing & availability, the Nokia T20 tablet is priced in India at ₹15,499 for the 3GB + 32GB variant & ₹16,499 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. In both cases, you get a WiFi-only tablet. To get it with LTE, you have to shell out ₹18,499, but we don’t think you should spend this much money on the T20.

It will be available on Flipkart, Nokia India’s website & on the company’s offline retail stores.
