Nokia 7.2, 6.2 & Nokia 5.2 may launch on September 11 in India as HMD sends out invites

HMD Global is set to launch its new smartphones at IFA 2019 in Berlin on September 5. Nokia has started sending out media invites in India for an event on September 11, where the company is expected to unveil Nokia 7.2, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 5.2. These devices are expected to launch with Android 9 Pie out of the box & may get Android 10 update by the end of 2019.

The Nokia 7.1, Nokia 6.1 & Nokia 5.1 were launched last year & the company is now upgrading all three with the typical Nokia naming style. Well, some leaks are suggesting that these devices will feature a waterdrop notch & may have a dedicated Google Assistant button as well.

According to the Rumors, the Nokia 7.2 is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. It would feature a 48MP primary rear camera alongside a wide-angle shooter. The device will pack a 3500mAh battery. It is also expected to have a hybrid SIM card slot so, you can use two sim cards or one sim card with a micro-SD card.

Coming to Nokia 6.2, the smartphone might feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ display & the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset. It could be paired with 4GB and 6GB RAM variants along with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. The rear camera is speculated to have a 48MP sensor. It could pack a 3500mAh battery with support for Qualcomm’s quick charge.

Finally, the Nokia 5.2 is expected to launch with Snapdragon 632 SOC.

Well, none of these specifications is confirmed so, let’s see what HMD is going to showcase on September 5.

Recently, HMD Global announced that Nokia 8, 6, 5 and the Nokia 3 would receive quarterly security updates until the end of their third year since they were launched.
